Firstly, I apologize for not posting in, well, FOREVER. But I was in the Melbournezzz for a week then crappy Canberra for another week! I have uploaded a few photos (out of six-fucking-hundred) to my flickr and will post them on here in the next few days. All I can say is Melbourne was incredible fun. I made so many fantastic friends and drank at least $600 worth of alcohol... although surprisingly I didn't go shopping much. I am too hooked on online shopping, regular shopping just bores me! Lolwut. So I was able to spend my savings on tasty tasty poison. The backpackers was amazing too, besides the fact they took our alcohol off us because 'alcohol is not permitted in the dorms'. Fucktards just wanted us to spend money in the bar. But besides that, the photos will explain the rest...about 70% of the photos where in and around the hostel, 10% at the near by Crown Casino, 10% at the airport, 5% actually OUTSIDE and the remaining 5%...I'm drunk and nude.

Ah, I am so inspired by Lookbook at the moment. Alot of looks are less pretentious and more down to earth, with colour and life! I particularly love the first look. I am slowly starting to dress differently with more colour and...fun? I also got some AMAZING black lace up boots for $67. I looked all day for some and couldn't find any for under $200 that weren't too big or too chunky that didnt make me look like I'm about to go hiking. I found some in a surf store O.o

I now officially work at The Powerhouse, a little fashion boutique in my local mall. I admit, its kind of trashy and not at all my style, but I need the money and I guess it will be fun getting the retail experience. The only bad part is I have to wear the clothes...dun dun dun. Awful thought. I will just have to see it as an excuse to try new things (ew).
Life is extremely hectic and I am making new decisions, some I regret and others I like to view as stepping stones. I need to let loose and be free for a while, its just hard since everything is so familiar. Iano. I should be moving to Melbourne in June or July and starting uni first thing 2011 before the world ends in 2012 (nerf guns at the ready). I am so fucking scared, but I need to be. Life has been to normal for me and I want adventure, nudity and freedom.

This weekend me and my boyfriend are celebrating our 2 years together! We get to go up to a spa getaway until Sunday and then go out to dinner at the cutest little beach side restaurant :)

On a completely unrelated note, I freaked myself out today...I thought I felt little bugs in my hair. I shook my hair, ripped a little out in a frenzy of fear and disgust only to remember I spent the day at the beach...and I had sand all through my hair...
Now there is sand all over my bedroom and my head hurts.

Then again I wonder if the sand really isn't sand. Maybe the sand is bugs. Like, smart bugs disguising themselves as sand to be more inconspicuous. Or maybe they arent really bugs at all. Maybe they are aliens, using my hair as a base and I have doomed the entire world to slavery and everlasting pain because I killed their queen in an elaborate attempt to save my soul...

Ok, so Schoolies is where year 12 graduates celebrate the end of school through licensed events and police supervision. From a year 12 graduate point of view, it is a time for skanks to wear head bands as skirts and "accidentally" leave their dignity and virginity at home. Around 20 000 graduates from all around Australia flock to the Gold Coast and hire out appartments for a whole week, every night partying untill about 2am in the morning. Not wanting to miss out, Jessica and I made our way down to the Gold Coast to hit up the action. Jess assured me that we had a place to stay, but upon arrival we saw that it was a TINY two bedroom flat with 15 - 20 people all sleeping on the ground. So, naturally, we left and hired out a little appartment around 15 minutes from schoolies. During the day we did a little shopping, ate a little mixed salad, and got a little dressed up for a big night :)

Graduation Night

Last night was my year 12 graduation, and I finally got to wear my dress! It was such a lovely night and everything went absolutely perfect.
Now tomorrow is my last day of school, ever. It hasn't sunk in yet but I guess I just need some one to walk by and throw a badger at my face and scream "ITS OVER BITCH".

A little fluffy dog ran into my yard this morning. My cat then proceeded to attack the window in an attempt to get out, which got me thinking.
Wouldn't it be cool if cats could turn into little hulk cats?
Picture this right, my cat approaches the window, stands on her back paws and begins to rip her fur until she emerges as HULK KITTEH! She bashes down the window, jumps from the second story of our house and lands near the dog. Hulk kitteh then pulls out her wand (because now she is kitteh potter) and yells "ENGORGIO!" The dog then turns into a giant dog and my cat then yells "Wingardium Leviosa!" and the dog gets lifted onto the next door neighbors roof. I beleive it would look something like this:

Lace, Lace, Lace!

This is by far my favourite thrift store find. I have opshop days in the nearby beach town and last Wednesday I found one I had never seen before! Hidden away in a back alley! Sitting on the mannequin was this dress, just calling my name, for only $5! But wait, there was competition! Standing across from me was a bogan girl with ripped jeans, scene hair and a cigarette. There was a stand off. She headed for the dress but I outsmarted her. I walked into the opshop and asked the lady to get it off the mannequin for me. Bogan girl had to watch as the lady handed the lovely floral and lace dress over to me, I smiled and ran for the changing room, jumping up and down in excitment like a special kid :)
I mean, honestly? What would she have done with it? Used it as a pillow while smoking pot? Worn it as a costume? The thought just scares me.
Its ok dress, I saved you from the bogan scene girl. Your all mine <3

Today I got measured and prodded by a rather sour dress maker because I had to get my prom/graduation dress taken in. The previous owner must have had quite a rack.
On my adventures I also brought a rather fantastic jumpsuit for $4.00 that I turned into a romper! My love for jumpsuits just wouldn't have saved it, sorry, but I wouldn't wear it out looking like a gangster.
OH AND OHMAIGOD
The "Best shoes ever" arrived today. They fit like a condom (because glove is way too mature) and I am so happy.
